However, it's caused a problem. When I encode the video with Intel QuickSync (from my iGPU (Intel UHD Graphics 730 on an i5-12400), I get upwards of 75% frame loss on my receiving Macbook Pro M2, despite that same system being easily capable of 120FPS display of H264 or HEVC streams. I've played with all the other settings: NVFBC, framerate caps, bandwidth caps, the works. Anytime I turn on Intel QuickSync: 75% frame loss. The second I turn it off: 0.2% frame loss. I tested it on my work mac as well (Also an M2 Pro), and the same thing happens. This is all at 1080p, no crazy 4k stuff here. I suspect this might be out of your hands, and might be a problem with the Metal decoder itself, but I wanted to at least make you aware of the issue.
Here's what shows up in the console when I toggle IntelQuickSync on in the settings while streaming:
Those same 4 lines repeat forever, as long as I'm on QuickSync, and immediately stop when I turn it off. Hope this helps :)
