Slay the Princess is a special type of time-looping visual novel that puts you in the moral and psychological hot seat of "what would you do if told what to do in a story, but still have the choice to go off script?". For better or worse, every choice you make has consequences; they might not be apparent at first glance, but they can completely alter you and the Princess's interactions in the future. But, there are no wrong choices in whatever you choose to do, they are all just winding paths along the time loop that is this game, and your options are never held against you by the people within the game... mostly...
And one of the most significant pieces we are told before we ever enter the game proper is "This is a love story," and for all intents and purposes, it is. Maybe not between the players themselves and the Princess, but there is definitely one between the protagonists and the Princess. It will not always be obvious; in fact, most of the time it will not be. But there is always that underlying connection between the two beings trapped in this time loop, both doing everything they can to survive and make their way out of this cabin.

It will take you multiple runs through the game to see every potential and possibility it offers, but it is honestly worth it to replay the game and interact with every Princess, see every potential, and check out every ending.
