Complete a Coin-op cooperative game on normal or higher difficulty

- but after a while in turned into a little compendium with various tricks, strats and shortcuts that might be useful for various players, from speedrunners to those who actually want to get that achievement fast

Coin-Op: rules, advice, hints
Coin-Op is like a regular campaign, only your team have shared lives, you start with three lives and if someone dies then you lose one life. lose all three of them, then you get Game Over and must start from the very first level

NO GAME OVER

if you ever got Game Over or saw "starting next map in 10 seconds" message:

...then you need to start THE WHOLE MODE from first level - Sierra De Chiapas - regardless of current level. yes, you may play for three hours, then run out of lives, get game over, and then your playtime is wasted.

extra lives
you get extra lives based on total score on that level - for 100.000, 200.000, 500.000 and 1.000.000 points (milestones)

settings
in order to start Coin-Op match:
MULTIPLAYER -> COOPERATIVE -> START SERVER -> COIN-OP
and the as on screenshot below:

if you are going to play alone (yes you can get that achievement alone), then:

should you leave your game public or private is up for discussion - random players joining-in may ruin your progress, but on other hand if some pro-player (or rusher who knows strats) joins your team then it might greatly speed up the whole process

few extra notes and trivia
  • ensure that your team has at least one player who knows the game very well and can handle most of traps and encounters. if your team is short on lives, then let that player revive first
  • player who needs that achievement should be a host. if you ever got disconnected then you no longer qualified for that achievement
  • before each map you have a warm-up time (when players need to press F3 to start a match) - check-out via TAB that all players are connected and are in game (not in spectator mode). there is nothing more frustrating than playing 8 maps straight only to see that your mates started the next level without you and now you no longer can get an achievement
  • ping is not that important for battles, but very important for various traps. players with high-ping may easily die at traps and should go the last
  • you do not need to kill all enemies or find secrets - just rush the levels. if even a single player reached the exit then the whole team advances forward
  • ammo, health, medkits are not shared - so pick whatever you want, it doesn't affect your teammates

how to remove the grass
I hate when foliage and crumbs mess with my aiming and make harder to see enemies around, so I prefer to play without it. use the following console command to remove grass:
crm_bAllowRendering=false

rocket-jump, shoulder-jump, boosting
levels have various shortcuts that players may use in order to beat them faster for which you need to use one of the following:
  • rocket-jump - aim your rocket-launcher straight down, jump, and shoot rocket at your feet. if done right you can get very high and fly over various fences and walls. each rocket-jump takes 50HP. also, some cuts require double (or even triple) rocket-jump, which is not easy to pull off. simple rocket-jump is not ping-dependent, but double- and triple- versions are
  • shoulder-jump - lure an enemy (preferably Harpy, Kleer or Werebull) to the wall, jump on its head/back and then jump over the wall in question. it has a bit shorter reach than a rocket-jump, but if done right you can get over without any damage. also Kleers may jump on other enemies (stack) and so you can reach even bigger heights than with a rocket-jump
  • boosting - your and your teammate come to the the wall and jump at each other heads trying to boost your a$$es up. with x3-x5 players boosting together you can get to a quite high ground easily without any double-jumps
level 01: Sierra de Chiappas
Secret Rocket Launcher
there is a secret Rocket Launcher underwater. just swim down all the way to the bottom and collect it. it takes ~20sec to get it

to be honest, there is not much use of it at this point of game and you may skip it. the only good purpose of that secret is getting 10,000pts (which might be useful to get a live or two) and getting the achievement:

Find a secret under water

Secret Tommy Gun
there is also a secret Tommy Gun (with plenty of ammo), which is way more useful than Rocket Launcher above. in order to get it you need to chop/mow down some trees:
  • x3 trees will spawn Tommy Gun
  • x3 more trees will spawn ammo for it
  • x3 more trees will spawn another set of ammo
to cut down the trees use your good-ol-handy chainsaw:

300 IQ way of chopping down the trees
using a Werebull. that method is dangerous with unskillful players around, tho. so it is more an amusing thing rather than practical

weird bug
sometimes that stupid Werebull may stuck on a rock. what a moron

"F Y" from developers on Serious difficulty
picking Tommy Gun, when x9 trees were cut down, will spawn x2 Highlanders nearby, just as a prank (yeah, I love you too, Croteam). you can kill them both with Rocket Launcher, just grab extra ammo from "Hall of Fame" secret beforehand

getting over the fence quickly
you may get over the fence faster, without killing all incoming Harpies. if even a single player got over the fence - it will open for all players and they may proceed further, saving a precious time

the easiest way to do it by jumping from other players' head (boosting)

or from any enemy (like Werebull or Harpy)

Speed powerup
there is a Speed powerup after the fence. use it to get as far in temple before it run out

Crushers
the first insta-kill trap in the game. in order to pass it safely - your team must go one by one. don't rush here (unless you are an expert, of course). look up to better see the distance between crushers

getting a higher ground
with a double rocket-jump you may get above crushers. it doesn't bear much purpose, just for lulz

PING warning
that section of the game is ping-dependent. if you have high ping (180+), then be double-careful with the trap because you may be squashed outside of collision box

always let the players with low-ping (50-80) come first and pass that section. this way, if a player with high-ping get killed - he will be respawned AFTER the crushers, potentiality saving lives for the whole team

if you get killed by crushers don't respawn immediately, better wait for anyone to pass through that section safely and resurrect after. ask in chat about appropriate time for a respawn if you are unsure. a safe call - when the fight in Kleer Pit (see below) is triggered - you may respawn)

Kleer Pit
the fastest way to beat that section is hugging a corner with Chainsaw and Invulnerability. just stand still and kill all bad boys

getting over
you may also use a rocket-jump to get over the wall (but you need a underwater Rocket Launcher from the first secret)

another way is using you team-mates (boosting) 2 players is enough, but 3 players will make it way easier

using Kleers (shoulder-jump) will not work, because you need a height of three Kleers and they don't stack like that often
level 02: Valley of the Jaguar
Jumpers
another insta-death trap that will probably severely handicap your progress (prepare to spend 1-2-3 lives on them)

step on Jumpers one player at the time, do not make a crowd on a single Jumper - you will eventually push other players into abyss

if you fell down - do not respawn immediately: instead wait for other players to either finish that segment (get into the open area) or die too - this way you will respawn near the leader's position and will save your team a few lives. and also let players with lower ping to respawn first (see below)

ping warning
those traps are ping-sensitive and high-ping players will have harder time than other players. with a ping of ~150 you will most likely fall down and die. it happens because of holding directional buttons and releasing them at wrong time (ping-wise). you stopped holding, say, "W" button, but host still believes that you are continue holding it and so jumpers will send you straight into a bottomless pit

players with high-ping should go last, giving players with lower ping an upper hand here

second Jumper
second Jumper (one that moves) deals a lot of troubles for players. in order to pass it safely - jump on the first Jumper when second will be in the middle moving towards left side, like below

do not jump at edge
there is quirky physics it the game: if you jump at prop's edge from a specific angle - you will be catapulted. that trick is used a lot in various defrag and speedrun videos, but in case of Coin-Op, you better stay away from Jumpers' edges. otherwise they will send you a mile away from a destination straight to the demise. it is especially true with the latest two Jumpers - first one constantly sends players in abyss

if you want to see that weird physics by yourself in a more safe environment, then check out the windmill in Land of Damned level (in Coin-Op). jump at its wing - and you will be catapulted away. in fact jumping on that wing from a specific angle sends you out of bound where you may safely reach the level's exit (final battle on ice) - it is a common speedrun strat

Invisible Reptiloid in area 2
there is a Reptiloid in area 2, who is visible for host but invisible for all other players. it stands here and shoots the green fireballs at you. don't mind the graphical glitch and just shoot at him with a Sniper Rifle

Rocket-Jump in area 2
if you don't feel like jumping back after pressing the switch, then you may Rocket-Jump on next platform. it is risky and you may waste one live, but if you feel really cocky and want to show-it-off, then good luck

secret Invulnerability
when you get outside look behind you

you will notice Invulnerability powerup. use a rocket to take it down

it will come very handy in next fight. however do not pick it up right off bat - instead wait until more Kleers, Biomechs and Werebulls get closer to you. if your team is short on life then that powerup may save your run

300 IQ way of getting that powerup
you can destroy the rocks with powerup in a previous room by shooting at very precise spot, see below. it may be useful if a skillful player activate it that way - so the novice players will immediately spot it outside

x2 nasty Demons
there are two nasty Demons waiting outside. I noticed that players mostly don't shoot them (being busy with enemies around) - but Demons deal a lot of damage to the whole team. kill them asap with a sniper rifle

fastest way to beat that stage
split your team into four group:
  • x1-3 players going at right temple
  • x1-3 players going at left temple
  • x1 stays at middle
  • x1 waits near exit door

this way your two "temple teams" can collect statues, type in chat when they have collected them. person in middle may insert them two at once and then the fourth player may just exit the stage via opened doors. this way you do not need to fight the final wave or HIghlander

secret Minigun
there is a secret minigun in right temple's wall. not that it is very helpful but still handy

extra live
because of Jumpers, your team, most likely, will be short on lives. one extra life is near CROLLYWOOD sign

boulder
do not get a secret near boulder - it will fall down and may smash players, wasting your lives. also Highlander may kick it around, making the battle nastier

flame the kamis
all Kamis' waves can easily been dealt with flamethrower

spiky room
spiky room in left temple is another insta-death trap. thankfully, you may easily pass it by ducking

dark room
no matter how carefully you follow the light in dark room - x4 Kleers will always attack you near the end

300 IQ cut
it is very pointless but still I will document it here for lulz. from a third Jumper you may get to the scenery on left and then by a series of diligent jumps and walking straight for 10min you may get into open area without messing with more Jumpers
level 03: The City of the Gods
fastest way to beat the level
first, rocket-jump over wall at right of first locked door. move forward and turn right

you will see two jumpers, step on left one

on left you will find a tree with yellow sparks. get through them, you will be teleported into "Secret Yard of strange looking heads"

pick the goodies - heart and armor (Kleers will spawned, deal with them or dodge them)

rocket-jump over that wall, walk straight to the next wall ahead and rocket-jump over it too

voila, you beat 60% of level and only few more sections left

skipping collecting two masks without Rocket-Jump
if you don't want follow the plan above, but still want to skip the first section where you need to collect two masks, then you may use your teammates to get yourself a boost over the wall. then come to the door - it will open and your other teammates may easily get in

goodies under the slide
under the slide there are lots of goodies - but beware that ride ends with a spiky wall. it is not recommended getting them since you may easily lose a life, but still I will document it here. first duck down to lose momentum. after grabbing Red Armor go all the wall to left and use a rocket-jump to return back at slide

staying above after the slide
by ducking at the end of slide you may stick above (not fall down) and help your teammates while staying mostly safe. Kleers still can hit you with projectile attacks

getting through lava cave
the fastest way of getting through lava section is using a rocket-jump. jump from the collapsed bridge down into lava, jump forward, and then rocket-jump yourself out

lava platform may stuck
there is platform moving back and fourth between two lands which is intended way to get thought the lava. important note, tho - if any player reached the final section (gravity room), then that platform will stop and players will have no way to get across the lava pool. so, do not start a gravity room until all your teammate passed that section

useful Kami
in the second part of big yard fight a single Kami will appear running toward your position. he will not detonate at you (even if you got close) and will leave behind an ammo pack. your ideal plan is - do not shoot him until he get close to your position and them kill him

Werebulls with cannons
a huge middle finger from developers - in the second part of big yard fight Werebulls will appear with cannons on their backs. they may insta-kill you if are not killed fast. use any powerful weapons to kill them asap

do not respawn immediately
important note - if you was killed by Werebulls do not respawn right after. you have only 1sec of invulnerability and high chance is Werebull may kill you again. I personally saw how player was killed by that beast, only to get respawned and killed again. instead wait until your teammate kill all Werebulls or passed that section all together

spike hall
another insta-death trap. to get through it easily - duck. wind affects you less significantly if you are crouching

whenever going through that section keep a distance between your teammates and do not bump into them or else you may accidentally push them into abyss or spikes

in the final section walk slowly and don't hug any walls - due to a ping collision box might be very off

Gravity Room
the easiest way to beat Gravity Room is to grab double-damage powerup, unleash your flamethrower and move backwards clockwise (or counter-clockwise). if you run out of powerup, then grab another one. in order to open the doors you need to kill all enemies, even frogs

how to beat secret blood bath
in the very first section of level there a secret with +1HP that spawns three Biomechs above you. you can easily beat that secret by destroying a wall, see below
level 04: Serpent Yards
fastest way to beat the level
in the very first yard kill al enemies (to ensure they will not bother you, grab health and armor. you should have have at least 101+ HP/Armor for two rocket-jumps

rocket-jump over the wall here

run further until you see that formation

rocket-jump over the wall and you find yourself in end-area. walk near stairs to trigger enemies and you finished the level

skip the first wave of enemies
in order to skip the first wave of enemies just rocket-jump over the wall to bypass the trigger zone

skip collecting the mask
you may skip getting the mask by using either a rocket-jump or boosting near the door

skip pressing two buttons
by jumping from a jaguar statue you may skip the quest with pressing two buttons near the end

you will ended up in about the same place as the first big cut (see above)
level 05: The Pit
Crushers
another insta-death trap. however, a good news is that this trap is less ping-dependent than other traps and even with a high ping you may safely (ans easily) pass it if done right

in order to pass it without unnecessary deaths - wait until Crusher goes all the way down to floor and then run at it non-stop (like hugging it). when Crusher will go up - you will immediately run under it. look above you to secure that you passed the Crusher and then hold for next one
even with ping 300+ player can easily pass that segment without deaths

do not respawn immediately
as with any other death-traps, in case if you was killed - do not respawn immediately, but instead wait until your team pass that segment so you can be revived pass the crushers

Bouncing Room
the easiest way to complete that section is stay away from Kami/Kleers spawn and just duck down. this way physics will affect you way significantly and you even may find a spot where can crouch still

about door alcove
I see lots of players trying to hide in a door alcove but can't never put my finger on why is it any good: Kami are spawning right next to you and can easily deal damage, Kleers are spawning away from your FOV and can safely jump at you. not sure why people like to stay in that spot

Concrete Mixer Room
the easiest way to cheese that section is by jumping on top of snake-like pedestal (from moving platforms)

from here you can safely burn down all the frogs with almost zero threats to your life (some frogs may reach you, but it still way safer than being down there)

after the frogs two Werebulls will be spawned that you may easily kill two. but right after the second Werebull it is better to get off from pedestal, because x3 Biomechs can shoot you down. better to fallback and deal with them from a safe distance

double-damage against boss
you can get an upper hand against boss and deal him a good chunk of damage by grabbing and using a double-damage against him

jump into that fire

it will teleport you on some platform where you can get double-damage

grab it and run to the boss (I prefer using a Grenade Launcher against him, but Cannon or Minigun are good option too)

activate boss first
it will greatly help if you ask your teammate to activate/summon boss first before grabbing double-damage, it takes a good 5sec of boss waking animation and if someone would have activated the boss for you, then may deal more damage in total

spikes before bosss
another insta-death traps. and as with any other traps - crouch down to lose momentum and pass it easily
level 06: Ziggurat
do not jump over wall at the start
you first idea might be using a boost and getting over the wall right at the start of level. but do not do this, because you will immediately die

secret sniper rifle
there is a secret sniper rifle behind the building at the start, but it is completely unnecessary because you get another sniper rifle in like ~2min

spiky well
at the very start you need to pass through the spiky well. the easiest way is to hold "W" to land on first platform, then turn around and hold "W" to land on next one. no need to jump

I saw people trying to jump on the second platform right off the bat and getting killed. don't do that

also. don't try to get the goodies below

no need to press a switch
in the first big room you have to press a switch to lower down the stairs. no need to do that

instead just use the stairs to jump on balcony and proceed as usual

skip 25% of level
outside there is a very generous skip near left wall

since you don't have Rocket-Launcher at this moment then you have no choice but to use boost from your teammates, or jump from Harpies or Gnaars + Kleers

skip 50% of level
another awesome skip in open-area. grab Rocket-Launcher and follow left-forward. here you will a wall to rocket-jump on

do not fall down! follow the wall into next area and jump over another faraway wall

...straight to final battle

jumping business
if you still wanna go thought main route, then be very careful with final jump - there is a platform going on above your head, ensure you don't smack your head into it

easiest way to deal with both Kleer waves
two times during the level you are going to fight Kleers attacking from all ways. the best way to deal with them is to grab double-damage (do not pick it right away. wait until you get surrounded by more enemies). then tuck in corner and use chainsaw

boulders
there is insta-death trap, which is kinda BS because of its random nature. the easiest way to survive it is to stuck in right corner like so

send one person
the easiest way to beat that section is to send one person first, kinda sacrificing him if anything goes wrong. since you need to trigger that trap only once, then a single person may activate it and be respawned if got killed

red armor is safe
at some point you will a Red Armor above spikes. don't be afraid to jump and get it, because spikes are harmless and will teleport you into a secret room with Cannon
level 07: The Elephant Atrium
secret Cannon
there is wall outside that you can destroy and grab a secret Cannon. why? to beat "Courtyards of Gilgamesh" (next level) faster

you see, in coin-op your ammo and health is reset every time you start the next level. however if you obtained the secret weapon, then you will start the next level with the picked weapon (unless you died then your weaponry is reset in next level)

now, there is a way to finish "Courtyards of Gilgamesh" in ~4min, but only if your team has Cannon

cut to the end
rocket-jump (or boost) across that wall and next wall after it to get straight to the final area of level

getting statue faster
you can jump from above area straight to the platform with statues to get it faster
level 08: Courtyards of Gilgamesh
shortest route possible
if you want to beat that level under 4-5min and you grabbed Cannon from "The Elephant Atrium" level (see above) - then you may your luck with the following route

get to the secret with Health Heart and pick it up (be careful Red Biomech will attack you). then rocket (or boost) above

walk all way forward until you see a protruding wall. this is a wall which you need to get over

double-rocket jump
if you are alone, then you need to do double-rocket jump (you should have 150 HP after picking up Health Heart above). if you missed your chance and ruined the attempt, then you are pretty much stuck outside with 50HP with no way to get out but to kill yourself

after respawn run all the way left and use a rocket-jump to get across smaller wall. this will return you back to main route

boosting is way easier
if you have teammates around who got into the same venture as you, then boost yourself up with any rocket-jumps (which is way easier!)

tough-tough battle ahead
if you done everything right then you will appear in the final section of end-battle. DO NOT RUN BACK or else you will spawn enemies from previous waves

during that final battle you need to kill x3 Demons, x3 Lava Golems, and tons of Harpies. without Cannon your chance are very slim and not worth taking. only with Cannon you have a chance to defeat that army

after done with them, move ahead to the door to spawn Kleers and Kamis - you do not need to fight them, just get inside the building and finish the level

grab statue with rocket-jump
you can easily get the statue with a proper rocket-jump, saving you quite a lot of time

you better to pick Health Heart first before doing that

jump or die
there is an insta-death trap in the building. players need to jump over the gap. you won't believe how may players didn't notice that abyss and just fell down to their own deaths

spike wall
one more insta-death trap. here you need to run ahead and then quickly turn right (careful, there is a Kleer here!) before wall is slide away and kill you

one at the time
do not run all together - you will eventually push/hug each other and sabotage everyone's progress. also stay aside from each other to not accidentally push players into the spikes

low-ping goes first
players with a lower ping shall go first, then players with higher ping. this way if high-pinged player is dead he will be resurrected in next area, next to leading player

beware of Lava Golems
during a fight in five-store building (where floor is constantly get collapsed) stay at bottom-middle area (under the entrance). there are Lava Golems on third floor and if you fall down at their heads they will kill you instantly with melee attacks. Lava Golems are stay away from above-mentioned area so you can safely drop down with no worries

do not pick small medkit
do not pickup that small medkit, because you know what happens? tons of guys will damage you right before a huge battle. always nice /s

drop on above platform
after a leap of faith in tiny shaft hold backwards to land on higher ground and keep yourself safe from attacks (and help teammates from a secure position). platform and entrance are located at the same side

do not jump and duck on elevator
when you will be riding an elevator - do not jump or crouch. depending on your ping you may accidentally fall through the elevator wasting team's lives

sneaky Reptiloid
there is a very sneaky Reptiloid hiding on top of palace. I constantly see that noone shoots him while he manages to deal enough damage to the whole team and wreck a chaos. kill him asap
level 09: Tower of Babel
useless rocket-jump
there is a small useless room for a rocket-jump that will save you ~10sec. not sure why ayone need to take it. aside from speedrunners, but anyway

useful cut
on other hand, another cut is quite useful because it saves you fighting bad guys and conserves your ammo. for that shortcut you need to just jump (not a rocket-jump, just a regular jump)

each yard has a rocket-jump cut
every single yard (aside from yard with Scorpions) has a cut, always near the door. so, grab the talisman, kill dangerous foes, and rocket-jump yourself into next area

do not trigger Mighty Gizmo
in the final yard you may find +1 HP tablet. do not pick it up, or else

Mighty Gizmo will spawn that will summon lots of tiny frogs. if someone spawned that beast, then prepare Cannon at shoot at the ground

easy kill boss
get under the boss and use chainsaw straight up. he cannot damage you, his projectiles will miss, his minions will be instantly killed. just continue chainsawing him until both his arms will be destroyed

run away when both arms are destroyed
his lazer, tho, CAN damage you, so beware and fall back when you see both arms are being destroyed

level 10: The Citadel
KO glove
another insta-death trap which is unique in its way. when you pass "dark dungeon" you will see a switch. come closer to it to spawn Reptiloid behind you. you have to kill him to open the door

if you press the switch then KO glove will poup instantly killing everyone in front of it

two important rules here:
1) duck before pressing the button - because the otherwise you will be killed
2) stay away if you see someone near the button - because, most likely, you will be killed

if door get stuck
if the following door do not open

then, most likely, one or more enemies are fell down and were no killed. look around to spot and kill them. sometimes they might be right below the bridge, making killing them harder

hidden timer
there is a hidden "anti-frustration timer" of 20min (I guess) that will automatically open the door. so in case if you can't find enemies left alive, then just wait near the door for a bit and it will open eventually (it is true for most locked doors that require you to kill all enemies before proceeding further, but only here it is actually an issue because Kleers tend to stuck on rocks below)

very nice cut
there is a cut that allows to skip 60% of level and is located behind that wall (see map for details)

there are lots of ways to get across it: boosting or using Werebull is one way

another way is using stovepipe. you can jump from it, go a bit right (until your character will "float in air") and then jump-right and steer yourself left

you can use the latter trick to get one any house without rocket-jump, shoulder-jump or boosting:

those houses have very picky way of where you are allowed to jump. you can jump on its roof, but can jump from its chimney

how to beat the final open area
if you are going with the shortcut above then you will be quite underpowered against numerous enemy horde and will, likely, die. follow the notes below to survive that fight successfully

first, grab Red Armor and enter trigger zone (near door) to spawn Red Biomech on bridge

use flamethrower to spice up Biomech and hide under bridge. Kleers behind you throw stuff at you, don't mind. they will eventually fall down in abyss

kill Biomech above you with a flamethrower and use sniper rifle to kill another Biomech in front of you (don't pop-up too much or else he will shoot rocket at you!). there are will be x2 Biomech at the same spot

after done with all x3 Biomechs - run from your cover and pick Invulnerability powerup. after that kill Demon on roof and everyone who is left alive. proceed forward

teamwork
if you are doing that strat with a team, then left some teammates on the wall so they could snipe Biomechs and Demon easily for you

hiding from Kleers at graveyard
if you find fight with Kleers at graveyard too tough, then hide in alcove left of church. Kleers can't hit you there

secret Minigun, Double-power, Invulnerability
after jumping on cogs and getting outside look at your left. you will spot a building

shoot at its door x10 rockets to blow-up the door and pick the goodies

enemy Cannons
Cannons are terrible enemies that deal severe damage and may even insta-kill you. players must destroy them asap. two cannons in first open area:

two more cannons in a yard where you fight Werebulls and Biomechs

Crushers can be destroyed
in the final fight players may destroy Crushers, making that fight way more manageable and easier

300 IQ rocket-jump
you don't need to lower-down the bridge to proceed further, you can just rocket-jump yourself here. I don't know how useful it is, but still

short-sighted Biomech
and just a little fun details - Biomech cannot shoot you with the lazers if you stay right in front of them, so you may safely knife them down if you really-really want it
level 11: Land of the Damned
double-damage at the start
in the first area you may find a double-damage powerup in one building, with the help of which you can mow down the first section just alright

no rush
do not rush on that stage. I know that if you are playing Coin-Op, then you most probably are playing for 2-3h already and quite tired, but that stage is crucial because of Highlander's Bride that can kill all your team (and lives) in one good minute

Highlander's Bride
when you reach the last area of village - Highlander's Bride will spawn behind you

that b1tch is well-known for being bugged as hell. the list of misdeeds includes the following:
1) she doesn't walk on ground, but rather slides around, over the building and crashing players under her weight
2) she is faster than anything in the game and can reach any player in a mere seconds regardless of his distance
3) her melee attack are insta-kills with no way to avoid them
4) she has tons of health: x6 players need to concentrate their fire on her for good 1min in order to put her down

DO NOT FIGHT THE BRIDE
the best way to deal with that gal is to not fight her at all - just run past everything straight to the gate

near the gate you need to destroy x6 Cannons on top, 1x Demon and 1x Red Scorpion. after killing all eight of them - the gate will be unlocked you may escape the Bride - she thankfully cannot get over the wall, but still can launch projectiles at you

use Invulnerability powerup
in one building near the entrance to village (look for a fancy snowman and Blue Armor) you can destoy the door and pick Invulnerability powerup inside. let the whole team use it at once and run straight to the gate together

don't rush ahead
before doing that segment - ask in chat to stay together and don't rush. use powerups together and don't mind anything else. there is nothing more frustrating than seeing that one player rushed ahead and triggered Bride, while other players are stalling away

do not respawn immediately if bride killed you
if Bride killed you, do not respawn right away - or else you will be revived near Bride and she will kill you again in a second. instead wait until other team members reached next section (lava caves) and revive then

Armor trap
speaking of Blue Armor - it is a trap. once you pick it up - snowman will launch rockets at you. destroy snowman first

bugged Cannons
Cannons are bugged in the way that you cannot destroy them from a far-away distance, once you reach a certain zone, they will be respawned and shot at you. get closer to them before starting attack them or else you will just wasting your ammo. a sure way when it is OK to attack Cannons - is when they start attacking you

be very careful with secret Cannon
there is a secret Cannon in Lava Cave, and the right way to get it is to accurately walk along the edge. do not try to jump at it from a side - or else you might be catapulted straight into the lava (buggy physics)

300 IQ shortcut
there is a very odd shortcut that you may use if you feel very cocky. in the final section of lava cave you will see this formation. jump at its side, rocket-jump up and then make one more small jump, like this
level 12: The Grand Cathedral
skip 35% of level
you can skip 30% of level by doing a triple rocket-jump at the start. grab an armor & health (you need at least of 150 points). get to that wall and godspeed

after that run straight head until you get teleported into next part of level

skip 60% of level
you can also use triple-jump to go straight to the final boss. alternatively boosting with x4+ people can also do a trick

in fact you can finish that level with timer still being at ~7min

they will attack from both sides
in the first part of level, be careful because at some point (near a final turn) enemies will attack you from both sides. that always keep players by surprise

balls of steel
in order to get through the final trap with cannon balls - loot at the left. you can spot Harpy's a$$ (literally) in one window. shoot it to get Invulnerability powerup

abuse enemies AI
if you got recked by enemies during a final battle and want to give yourself a little room, or need to go AFK, or want to try triple rocket-jump without being attacked from all sides, then hide by the left side of cathedral. enemies cannot see you here

use double-damage against the final boss
after dealing with enemies and gate being open - grab Super-Speed powerup first, then Double-Damage powerup - and run straight to the final boss. with a good timing and nice weapon you can easily cut 50-90%% of his health

Guys don't ever try to do it solo. The achievement won't unlock. Don't waste your 6 hours like me. Find someone and play with him. :crying_yeti: I feel so sad.

@Isak, inifinite ammo not allowed, and you have to play the whole game from level 1 to final in one go

У тебя написано, что эту ачивку можно взять одному.
Я попробовал - не зачло.
Но стоит сказать, что на 3 уровне мне вылезла плашка навроде "нет игроков чтобы присоединиться, вам придется начать заново". Не понял, почему она вылезла, но после нее я все еще смог получить ачивки на сбор монет и жизней. Но за прохождение игры не дали.
