It's actually really easy.

Continue playing. When you reach rendezvous 3, land on one of the mountains on the planet before landing at the actual rendezvous.

Milestone accomplished.

I climbed the highest mountain i could find, then used the jet pack to get up to 1600. Mission complete...

Somebody built a platform right next to rendezvous point 2 that is above 1600u.

Thanks, Good to know xD

what i did was i just went to a low gravity planet then i just boosted my way all the way up without a mountain since your jetpack regens when you are in the air with low gravity

I must have been super lucky. When I became aware of this mission, I looked 360 for the tallest peak I could see, flew to it, landed, hopped out, done.
Just fly up on the first planet. The jetpack regenerates faster than you can fall. Killed myself by leaving the atmosphere lmao

There's also a mountain not too far from RP2, as well.

And IIRC, the ice planet with bones in the same system as RP2 also has tall mesas, pretty sure those are tall enough (I already had the milestone done so I can't confirm).

Also, RP5 is on a HUGE mountain, like, THE biggest mountain I have ever seen in the game, that crap is ridiculous lol.

The planet with rendezvous point 2 has a lot of mountains close or above 1600. For me, the second mountain I landed on on the planet, near the rdv points, was high enough to complete that step.
