Rug bug

I am encountering a bug where where I placed a rug where some furniture was, it placed it in the air, and I can no longer select the rug to delete it - its literally just stuck in the air. Ive tried restarting the game, going somewhere else and coming back, etc. It stays there and I cant interact with it.

I came here because this just happened to me yesterday. Was there a fix for it? I just started playing this game so I don't know much about it. I'll join the disc and report it there too
