I've used this pack and the game seems to be fine, except for a weird orientation glitch with sound. I can't hear some when the source is in the left side but it's usually ambiance stuff.
It's got better textures and widescreen as well, not just sound fix.

Hey, I have the exact same issue regarding the cut-scenes, menu's music and pretty much all other audios not playing when supposed but all effects are ok.
Did you try the fix that Cha suggested? Did it work?
