Is this game truly Mod friendly?
It's cyberpunk. Will I be able to Mod the game into a full Ghost in the Shell Experience?? With Major Kusanagi? I miss First Assault game was fire. There were other decent games. a new GITS game is long overdue. Huge GITS fan. And to my topic title that is exactly what I'm asking is the game mod friendly any UGC even if it reuses assets from other IP's and franchises? If I cannot turn this game into another franchise not interested. I've seem a few GITS mods. Some I heard were taken down. So my purchase and play is contingent on can I mod this game into a GITS experience... (:

Theres mods on the nexus but the devs update it often, which breaks mods and forces you to downgrade
They released there very own modding-support REDmod to make the game more mod friendly. Not every mod use it though.

I have close to 700 mods installed in my game. I have played this way for a few years now. If you know what you are doing it can be an even more greater Cyberpunk 2077 gaming experience than you can ever imagine. I would have to say with a confident YES, the game is mod friendly if you pay attention on how to install mods and mod requirements. Now there are some hiccups if you install mods wrong and it can be a pain if you have a lot installed to pin-down the problem. But like I said, if you pay attention you should have no issues.
Happy gaming! :steamhappy:

Not as good as Bethesda games but it's not bad. It does get annoying having to fix mods after nearly every patch. But right now I'm doing a legacy version run and even that version has mod support because most of the mods on Nexus still have the old versions up. So to answer your question, yes.
